2 males from nowhere

We're two blokes from regional Australia and we're stoked to announce that we're taking part in Shitbox Rally Winter 2024! This year, all the teams are driving their shitboxes from Melbourne to Alice Springs.

Our names are Mark and Greg and we've made several pilgrimages through the outback since we met twenty years ago. From our travels and the friendships we've made, we've seen firsthand the difficulties people in the bush and the outback face when seeking medical treatment. Long trips for appointments, longer trips for treatment, and the resulting huge costs and impacts on families.

We dedicate this year's drive to the people who work the land and provide the bounty that is Australia's food bowl. Many of them are unsung heroes who deal with things like a 2,000km round trip for an operation or chemotherapy with grace and humour. It's our hope that our efforts in the Rally can make life just that little bit easier for these legends who, we believe, represent the very best of Australia.

Shitbox Rally is the largest community led fundraiser for Cancer Council in Australia, and is now in its 14th year. Part of the deal is that all teams have to raise a minimum of $5,000 but most teams raise well above this amount as you can see with the Winter 2024 rally target set at $2,000,000 plus.

These funds go to Cancer Council and we are extremely proud to be doing our part to support such a worthy charity. The fundraising is the hard part, so any donation you can give is greatly appreciated. Please make sure to follow our progress via this page and the blog post below.
